89.1 SMRC
At the invitation of the CEO, Cr Olson provided elected members with a verbal report on matters relating to the SMRC.
The Manager Planning Services left the meeting at 9.00pm.
Elected members raised a number of issues particularly related to odour complaints.
Cr Wilson queried whether arrangements could be made for elected members to again visit the facility and also asked if more advice related to the odour complaints could be obtained.
The CEO advised that, with respect to the above, he would contact Stuart McAll:
(i) re another tour being organised
(ii) re Stuart McAll addressing the Council Meeting of 3 May 2011, particularly in relation
to:
(a) odour issues
(b) the rebuilding of the MRF
(c) SMRC 2011/12 budget parameters.
The Minute Secretary left the meeting at 9.25pm.
