• Item 13.1 – Regional Resource Recovery Centre (RRRC) – This item informs Council of the progress and performance of operations at the RRRC.
• Item 13.2 – Tender 2006-02 Design & Construct Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This report proves Council with update on the tender clarifications in respect to the design and construction of the MRF (Recycling Plant).
• Item 13.3 – Tender SMRC 2006-11 – Purchase and removal of recovered recyclables for PET (Plastic) and ONP#6 (Paper). – Confidential Item
• Item 13.4 – Terms of reference for review of SMRC operations – For the Regional Council to consider the terms of reference for review a review of the SMRC’s operations and the appointment of consultants to undertake the work.
• Item 13.5 – Regional forum – To consider a request from the City of Canning for the SMRC to facilitate a forum to allow Councillors from participating member councils to;
a) Review and comment on the various aspects of the SMRC 2006/2007 annual budget and capital works program
b) To address the Regional Council on issues/matter of concern.
• Item 13.6 – 3rd Annual in-vessel user group conference – This is a request from the SMRC’s Chief Executive Officer to attend the 3rd annual in-vessel users group conference in Nantucket USA on the 4th & 5th October 2006.
• Item 13.7 – Annual review of Chief Executive Officer’s salary and performance.
• Item 13.8 – Audit committee membership – To advise the Regional Council of the draft membership structure for the SMRC audit committee.
• Item 13.9 – Financial Statements – Financial statements for the July 2006 period. Investment Committee held on 12 September 2006
