City of Canning RRRC and the WCF Odour Issue…
RRRC WCF zoning…
SMRC Videos on You Tube…

And the Legislative Council Standing Committee  On Environment And Public Affairs.

===============================================

Hi there

So much to tell and so little time to fill you in, so we’ll keep it brief.

1. SMRC Videos Removed from You Tube
——————————–

If you didn’t know already there’s been plenty of “not so happy” residents appalled at the latest antics of those who support the RRRC WCF.

4 x videos were submitted on You Tube which contained folk from the SMRC and the Odour Unit driving around in a hire van:

a.Standing out the front of resident’s homes (or in their streets), who complain about the RRRC WCF odour, and laughing and making light about the odour issue.

b.And mentioning some of the residents names that complain about the odour.

This has certainly caused a stir within State and Local Govt. The videos have recently been removed from You Tube, but the tornado effect from it isn’t dying down.

2. City of Canning – RRRC WCF zoning… And the Legislative Council Standing Committee On Environment And Public Affairs.
———————————

If you haven’t read the City of Canning council minutes of late then please make the effort to do so:
http://www.canning.wa.gov.au/Shared/Meetings/Minutes27January2009P.htm

Issues have come up in regards to the RRRC WCF zoning.

And it looks like the City of Canning are making a submission to the Inquiry Into Municipal Waste Management In Western Australia.

The City of Canning are also discussing the issue of the SMRC Videos that were on You Tube.

3. Are You Sick of Complaining about RRRC WCF odour?
—————————

Feedback from residents is that they’re still copping the RRRC WCF odour – but they’re sick and tired of reporting it.

Heck, who isn’t?

But at the end of the day, if you don’t complain then who will know if you’re copping it or not? No one!

The old excuse of “no one is complaining, so why should we do anything” or “if no one is complaining doesn’t that mean no one is getting the RRRC WCF odour anymore?”

This is what resident’s are up against when the RRRC WCF odour isn’t reported.

Don’t allow excuses to be made by those with a vested interest in this facility.

Sure we’re sick of it, so tell them that.

Log the odour and let the folk at the top of the food chain understand how frustrated and fed up you are along with the impact it’s having on your family, pets and home.

Log the odour online – putting it in writing is vital:
http://www.cmcoag.com/odour-log.htm

and

Log the odour via phone using the Emergency Pollution Response Numbers Below:

Day Time – 6364 6501
After Hours – 1300 784 782

Hard work of concerned residents has and is having an amazing impact on this issue.

Keep it up!

Remember… The residents were here first, not the RRRC WCF.

Kind regards
CMCOAG
